Who we are

What we collect
When you contact us by the enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive what you give us: typically your name, organisation, phone number, email address, and details of the work — its location, scope and dates, and for tenders the reference number and required documents. We do not ask for ID numbers or banking details, and the form does not accept file uploads.
How the enquiry form works
Depending on how the site is set up, the form either (a) emails your enquiry to us through our email delivery provider, or (b) prepares the message so that you send it yourself from WhatsApp or your own email app. In case (b), nothing reaches us until you press send. The website itself does not keep a database of enquiries.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote or respond to a tender request, and to keep a record of what was quoted. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not add you to marketing lists.
Who else handles it
Our website host (Vercel) and, when the form sends by email, our email delivery provider process your enquiry on our behalf. WhatsApp and your email provider handle messages you send through them. Sakokhule Trading is a separate registered company that shares a director with Izanolihle Roads. If your enquiry is for work that company does rather than us, we will ask you before passing it on.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Where we quote or carry out work, the records are kept for as long as the law and the contract require.
Analytics
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Email lindokuhle@izanolihleroads.co.za. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
